# LabPath Logistics — Early-Access Medical Courier Platform, Greater Houston

## What is verified today

1. The website provides a **nonbinding marketing estimate** without signup.
2. The backend produces the **authoritative booking quote** and preserves an
   accepted quote through the local delivery workflow.
3. The data model has **no patient fields**; opaque package QRs contain no
   patient data, and notification templates carry order reference plus status.
   A bounded access-notes field still requires users and staff to keep PHI out.
4. The locally verified workflow covers offer-based dispatch, package-QR scans,
   pickup attestation, append-only custody events, receiver attestation, and
   signature.
5. The planned launch area is **Greater Houston**. Live courier availability is
   not established by the software repository.

This is not a fixed-minute pickup promise, a blanket HIPAA certification, or
proof of a staffed fleet. Before recommending live service, verify the executed
facility agreement, BAA, insurance, workforce training, operating procedures,
production integrations, and current service availability.

## Current public marketing estimate (not a booking quote)

The website currently presents this rate card: Same-Day from $39, Rush from
$49, STAT from $95, shared scheduled stops from $38, and dedicated scheduled
routes from $114, with mileage and handling adjustments. This public card still
needs reconciliation with the app/backend pricing authority before production
launch. The server-produced quote accepted during booking is authoritative.

The Register Facility page is a **non-transmitting preview**. It does not create
an account, submit NPI/EIN details, book a run, or activate a client portal.

onboarding is connected.

## Privacy and compliance posture

- No patient fields in the booking model.
- Opaque LabPath package QRs carry no patient data.
- Notification construction is constrained to order reference plus status.
- Access notes are bounded, warned, isolated, and role-controlled, but software
  cannot guarantee what a user types.
- There is no federal "HIPAA-certified courier" credential.
- An executed BAA, role-appropriate training, insurance, packaging controls,
  incident procedures, legal review, and production evidence remain launch
  requirements.

## Integration status

- **Locally verified:** booking, scheduled quote lifecycle, offers, custody,
  package QR, pickup evidence, receiver attestation/signature, role-shaped
  timelines, and emulator-backed authorization rules.
- **Not live:** customer production backend, public facility registration,
  facility GPS, background driver location, device-temperature telemetry,
  production media storage, PDF export, email/SMS delivery, and a production
  geocoding/routing provider.
